Passerby, Plaza Civica 15x22 wc This painting was done as a result of my morning sketching sessions at Plaza Civica. I have mentioned before how I enjoy this plaza and the people who pass through here. This is a simple scene but is typical of the everyday, hour by hour occurrences in almost any plaza in Mexico. As they pass the entrance of the Church men always tip their hat and everyone crosses themselves as if to say a small prayer.
